- DrShakthiCharities, ‘Shakthi’in the Sanskrit language means ‘power’ is a nonprofit organization in California, USA (pending registration). It was conceived in 2004 with Darshana Prakasam's "MahaDarshan" program and finally came to being as a corporation in 2007. People behind DrShakthiCharities: The organization was built on the passion of Dr. Eswari Prakasam and her two children Darshana and Manu. They are the founders and torch bearers of DrShakthiCharities. The driving force is the enthusiasm of Darshana Prakasam (10th grade student, Mira Loma High School, Sacramento, CA) and technical support is by Manu Prakasam.
